offer a wide range of support and information around disabilities.

SENSE

offer residential care, virtual support, and have a network of centres in communities across the country for people with disabilities. They also provide lifelong opportunities for disabled people to be creative and active through holidays, arts, sports, and wellbeing programmes.

KINGFISHER TREASURE SEEKERS

provide a variety of activities for people with learning disabilities. Their timetable is always changing, but they often have a disco, arts and crafts and karaoke.

GUIDEPOSTS

provide support and activities for people with learning disabilities to help people stay active, build skills and connect with others.

3rd SPACE (CREATIVE SUSTAINABILITY) 

is primarily for 16 – 25-year-olds, and in the period between 25 and 30. They offer support and mentoring, residentials and camps, outdoor activities and workshops and volunteering and work opportunities.

offer a safe, friendly, fun and caring environment for adults with learning disabilities to enjoy activities within the community and enrich their lives with new experiences and friendships.

INCLUSION GLOUCESTERSHIRE

are a user-led organisation driven by the social model of disability. They have 4 hubs across Gloucestershire, led by disabled people for disabled people. At the Inclusion Hubs, you can make new friends, try out new activities and access information.

run a range of different activities for for residents of the GL11 postcode area which covers Cam, Dursley, Uley and North Nibley. They offer opportunities to learn which are fun, inclusive and encourage friendship and support if you are facing problems.

ART SHAPE

runs a countywide programme of arts courses and projects with a specific focus on disability issues and social inclusion.

ABLEize

ABLEize was created to make disability and special needs resources in Gloucestershire easy to find under one roof. Find clubs and groups, recreations and sports for all disabilities and additional needs in Gloucestershire including carers support, sports including fishing, bird watching and even skiing.

The Wiggly charity offers hands-on experience in the world of food, working with vulnerable people in our society. The run cookery classes for adults with learning disabilities and those on the autistic spectrum. They focus on minimising food waste and making quick, easy and nutritious recipies.
