Connecting people

Our Social Buddies and Gig Buddies programmes connect adults with learning disabilities to volunteers. Buddies then get out into the community to do things they enjoy together.

Our Social Buddies meet to explore hobbies as well as social activities, while our Gig Buddies get together to attend live music gigs and events.

We’ve found that shared interests lead to lasting connections and friendships.

Improving lives

We offer training to adults with learning disabilities to help develop the skills they need to make safe, healthy and informed choices.

Training programmes are created to meet the specific needs of the adults we work with and can be delivered to individuals and groups.

We also offer workplace training to support organisations who work with adults with learning disabilities.

Changing minds

 Our Social Buddies and Gig Buddies schemes give both adults with learning disabilities and local volunteers the opportunity to make new friends and enjoy shared experiences.

Supporting Building Circles in any way – by volunteering, donating money or by raising funds on our behalf – can be rewarding and fun.
