How you can help us support adults with learning disabilities

There are three ways that you can support us – by volunteering your time, by sending us a donation and by helping us to raise money.

Whichever way you decide to help us, know that we are very grateful.

Become a Building Circles volunteer

We appreciate all our volunteers who give us their time and energy. Interested in joining them? We’re always seeking members of the community to volunteer as a Social Buddy or a Gig Buddy or to lead a group project, activity or event.

Make a donation

The donations we receive from the community go towards keeping our activities and events up and running. And when you make a donation, 100% of your money goes to our projects.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a government scheme that lets charities claim tax relief on the donations that you make to them.

The idea behind it is that you're usually making donations from your post-tax income. The charity then takes your donation, and – if you've agreed to Gift Aid – claims your basic-rate (20%) tax back from HM Revenue & Customs.

This means Building Circles receives more money from any generous donations with Gift Aid!

Be a fundraiser

Another great way to help us is by hosting a fundraising event – like a pub quiz, a coffee morning or a bake sale. Or ask friends and family to sponsor your next run, swim or climb.

If you need any more ideas for fundraising events or advice running yours, please get in touch.
